Mind can travel afar
The mind does not move physically away like a man walking. But as it can take in
an object at a distance far away from where you are, it seems as if it has gone there.
For example; while you are in Vaishali and think of something or someone in
Sankisa, your mind does not actually travel to Sankisa, but registers its awareness of
Sankisa while still in Vaishali. As it can perceive an object at distance, it is said, "Mind
can travel afar."

मन दूर तक यात्रा कर सकता है
मन शारीरिक रूप से दूर नहीं जाता है जैसे कोई व्यक्ति चलता है। लेकिन यह आपके स्थान से बहुत दूर स्थित किसी वस्तु को देख सकता है, इसलिए ऐसा लगता है जैसे वह वहां चला गया है। उदाहरण के लिए; जब आप वैशाली में होते हैं और संकिसा में किसी चीज़ या किसी व्यक्ति के बारे में सोचते हैं, तो आपका मन वास्तव में संकिसा की यात्रा नहीं करता है, बल्कि वैशाली में रहते हुए ही संकिसा के बारे में अपनी जागरूकता दिखता है। चूंकि यह दूर स्थित किसी वस्तु को देख सकता है, इसलिए कहा जाता है, "मन दूर तक यात्रा कर सकता है।"
